Ralph faces his fears for the air ambulance

My Story

In August 2017, while shopping in Rugby town, I "died" suddenly from a cardiac arrest. Good people rallied around and gave me CPR till the police, land ambulance and air ambulance arrived and eventually brought me back from over 26 minutes on the "far side". I was in a coma for 4 days, in hospital for 7 weeks and off work for 6 months. Now I'm back and very much alive!

Strangely, I always feared a cardiac arrest even though I was very fit and had no symptoms of any such thing. I no longer fear that. But I do fear heights. Now I will confront that fear in order to help the people who helped me. I will abseil down Coventry Cathedral to raise money for the air Ambulance who saved me and save other people struck by misfortune every day and everywhere.
